Who owns the material

All video, audio, written material, photographs, illustrations, sequences, page copy and design on this site and inside The Calyra Method are protected by copyright and, where applicable, other intellectual property rights. Unless stated otherwise they belong to Paulo Ricardo Alves Ribeiro or are used under licence.

Individual yoga and Pilates exercises are not themselves owned by anyone. The recordings, sequences, explanations, written guides and their presentation are.

The licence you receive

When you buy, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable licence to stream and view the material, and to download the files we explicitly offer as downloads, for your own private and non-commercial practice.

Teaching from what you learn

Knowledge is not owned and we do not pretend otherwise. If you become a teacher, you are free to teach principles you learned here in your own words and with your own sequences. What you may not do is reproduce our recordings, hand out our PDFs, copy our sequences lesson by lesson, or present our material as your own course. The Teaching Foundations module in the Mentorship level is explicitly about building your own material.

Quoting and reviewing

Fair dealing and fair use rules apply as normal. You may quote a short passage in a review, an article or a social post with attribution and a link. You may not post a lesson, a substantial extract, or a PDF.

If you find our material somewhere it should not be

Tell us at legal@calyrastudio.com. It helps us keep the price where it is.

If we have infringed your rights

If you own copyright in something published here and believe it is used without permission, write to legal@calyrastudio.com with:

We investigate immediately and remove anything infringing while we do. This procedure follows the notice and takedown standard of the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act and article 19 of the Brazilian Internet Civil Framework. If you sent a notice in error, you may send a counter-notice to the same address.

Third-party material

Some photographs on this site are licensed stock images and are not covered by the licence granted to you. Fonts are used under their own licences. Any third-party material inside the course is credited where it appears.

Enforcement

Breaching this licence ends it immediately. We may withdraw access without a refund and, where the breach is commercial, pursue the remedies available under Brazilian Law 9.610/1998 on copyright and under the law of the country where the breach occurred.
