Nothing that tracks you runs on this site unless you say yes in the banner. If you reject, everything still works: you can read every page, buy the course and open your library.
The banner covers cookies and anything equivalent, including local storage in your browser. We use local storage more than cookies, and it is treated the same way.
These make the site work. They cannot be switched off, and under the ePrivacy rules and LGPD they do not require consent because without them the service you asked for cannot be provided.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Type | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|---|
__stripe_mid, __stripe_sid | Stripe, on the checkout page only | Fraud prevention and making the card field work. Stripe will not process a payment without them. | Cookie | 1 year and 30 minutes respectively |
calyra_token | This site | Remembers your access link so your library reopens without finding the email again | Local storage | Until you clear browser data |
calyra_consent | This site | Remembers the choice you made in this banner, so we stop asking | Local storage | 12 months |
Anonymous statistics about which pages are read and where people stop, so we can fix the ones that do not work. Never sold, never used to identify you personally. If you reject this, none of it loads.
If you accept, platforms such as Meta or TikTok are told that an ad led to a purchase, so we can stop paying for ads that do not work. This involves sharing a hashed identifier with them, and they may use it for their own purposes under their own privacy policies. If you reject, no advertising script loads and nothing is shared.
At the time of writing, no advertising or measurement script is installed on this site at all. The banner exists so that consent is collected properly before any is added, and this page will be updated with the exact list on the day one is.
Use the link, also in the footer of every page. Your new choice takes effect immediately, and rejecting stops any further collection.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will break the checkout, because Stripe cannot run its fraud checks without them.
Your choice is remembered for 12 months, then the banner appears again. That is the maximum period European supervisory authorities generally accept.
Clearing site data removes the stored access token. Your access is not lost: the link in your email still works, and opening it stores the token again.
What we do with personal data generally, including the lawful basis for each use and how to exercise your rights, is in the privacy policy. Questions go to privacy@calyrastudio.com.
